      <description><![CDATA[the higher you can make it, the better... BUT if, from the ground, it looks too them like they don't have the room they won't go up.  They CAN fly remember, they just aren't all that good at it.
I would give at least 2', choices are good too if you have the room for it.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[We have three sections to our coop.  One section has the roosts 1 1/2 feet from the ceiling and the other sections 2 feet from the ceiling.  All sections have other roosts too, so they have something to perch on, to get up to the higher ones.  
We use to have a tier type, but everyone wanted to be at the top, so we took that type down.  
I think, the higher you can make it, the safer they are.
