How do I take care of a bloody back?

After 2 months of living in separate quarters, I put 1 male guinea with 2 females and another male in the same coop (the one of the newer guinea). I wouldn't have done it, but they seemed to all want to be together desperately. After 3 or 4 days I took the new one out (who was a lot bigger to begin with than the other guineas). Well, he had lost weight since he never came down from his perch, was a nervous wreck, and had missing feathers and a bloody back. Didnt see it at first since he kept it covered pretty well. It's been about 2 weeks and he gets along with the 1 rooster and 10 hens...he was looking great again. I just noticed this morning that his wounds are open again on the back. I don't think anyone else did it unless he can reach back there himself, I don't know. Anyway, how do I take care of his wound....leave it be or apply something to it??
