My free ranging guineas and one peacock never bothered my tomatoes until I introduced an adult peahen, that had been fed produce scrapes.
She was penned at her last home, so didn't have access to their garden.
She showed the others what they had been missing!
Since she has gone blind and is now confined to the coop, they seem to have forgotten about tomatoes this year.
