The drought and heat are taking their toll on the activities of my 6 ginz. With temps in the 100+ range for days, and just 2.25" of rain in the last 60 days, the cool shaded places and the number of bugs available is getting very limited. The guys have found the best place to escape the heat is on the north side of the house & under the rose bushes, amid the tulips and hostas in our rock garden. With water restrictions, it is the only place that gets limited watering.

Even with the doors and windows open, temps in the coop are running 110+ in the afternoon.
