Won't Go Out

I opened the bird door to the fenced in pen 3 days ago. The oldest came out for a while (none followd), perched here and there, stayed on my back/shoulder for awhile, scratched in the dirt and leaves a little, hung out by my feet, and spent the next several hours going into and out of the coop quite comfortably.

No other birds came out. Some came to the door and peered out, but didn't venture out. I left the door open all day yesterday, no birds came out. It's opend today, and not even the oldest bird is coming out.

I have mirrors set up, put millet seed on the sill of the opening and on the ramp, and call to them. Some will come to the door, but still no body comes out.

Should I herd them out and shut the door, or leave the door open forever until they decide to go out, or something inbetween? Some people have seem to have problems getting them back in, mine don't seem to want to leave. (Pen is 10 x 20 with 7' high wire sides with landing board on top). What suggestions do you have?
